In a news story published in Building Central Florida Magazine on 10/10, our company is highlighted for being honored with four prestigious awards from major organizations in the AEC industry. From the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the firm earned: the 2025 Excellence in Construction (EIC) Award of Merit for the Highlands Elementary School Project in Jacksonville (projects in this category ranged from $5 million to $20 million), and ABC’s 2025 Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Achievement Bronze Award. From the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA), the firm received the TCA Achievement Award for their work on the Orange County Fire and Rescue Training Center, and the TCA’s 2025 Alphonse Engelman Safety Award for Most Improved Tilt-Up Safety.

“We are honored to receive these awards and celebrate them with our team, clients, and project partners who made all of this possible,” said T&T Construction Management Group, Inc. Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair Rebecca Thomas. “With 2025 being our 30th anniversary in business, these achievements further help us in building a resilient legacy of quality, innovation, and long-lasting value.”

These accolades underscore T&T Construction Management Group’s steadfast commitment to leading innovation and propelling industry standards. The 2025 Excellence in Construction Award of Merit is for the company’s work on Highlands Elementary School in Jacksonville, which honors its beauty and performance involved more than 186,800 square feet and 295 cubic yards of project deliverables, a tight timeline, and weather and materials challenges. The 2025 TCA Achievement Award for its work on the Orange County Fire and Rescue Training Center exemplifies the company’s use of unique solutions, demonstrating the beauty and flexibility of tilt-up construction.

The ABC STEP Achievement Bronze Award honors companies that strengthen a culture of safety. The TCA Alphonse Engelman Safety Award recognizes contractors who demonstrate safe job sites and working environments.

“STEP measures performance on key components, strengthens and expands best practices, and builds safety culture,” said Greg Sizemore, ABC vice president of health, safety, environment and workforce development. “Our people are our greatest asset, and I commend T&T Construction Management Group for consistently fulfilling those commitments to raise the bar of safety performance.”
