With a population of over 1.6 million people, the Jacksonville metropolitan area is a thriving hub for businesses, education, and infrastructure development.
Home to 50,000 businesses and 360 schools, Jacksonville offers endless opportunities for growth and expansion. As T&T Construction makes its mark in this region, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead and the impact we’re already making on key local projects–
Project Empire-
This industrial warehouse project is located just 10 minutes off I-95 corridor, North Jacksonville’s prime area for industrial expansion with several other development projects underway. Project Empire required panels covering 160,532 sf and slab on grade covering 595,662 sf. Once completed, this $64 million facility will provide logistics and distribution services to the Southeast U.S and beyond.
Project Highlands Elementary-

Built in the west side of Jacksonville, Highlands Elementary was formed with 57,797 SF tilt–up panels, with a large portion covered in “brick”. The “brick” is actually stamped Formliner, an innovative method used to add decorative finishes to concrete surfaces. It replicates the look of traditional brick, offering the aesthetic appeal of brick without the high costs and labor of traditional bricklaying.
Project Jean Ribault High School-
Click here for videoIn one of Jacksonville’s most exciting educational projects, T&T Construction is proud to have worked on the complete renovation of Jean Ribault High School. Originally built in 1957, the modernized Jean Ribault campus features a brand-new athletic facility, gym, and performing arts center.
To achieve the classic brick look for the school’s exterior, T&T used integrated thin brick for the concrete panels. Our work at Jean Ribault has garnered attention in industry publications like Informed Infrastructure and Space4Learning, recognizing T&T’s role in shaping modern, sustainable school environments.
Both Highlands Elementary and Jean Ribault High School are a part of Duval County Public Schools, the largest school district in Jacksonville. The school board recently approved a Five-Year Capital Plan which includes funding for several projects in the district’s new Master Facilities Plan. The district tentatively plans to consolidate a number of Elementary Schools in the 2025-26 school year.
As Jacksonville continues to grow, T&T Construction is dedicated to providing premier concrete solutions. Let’s build a better future, together!
