First Job: A simple mailbox project with brothers Jason and Billy Thomas.

1996:
Brothers Jason and Billy dedicated themselves to getting the business off the ground while also receiving support from their parents and grandmother, a true small family business was beginning to take shape.

Angel Garza joins as the first employee, becoming a vital part of the story.

1998:
Channel 18 in Lake Mary, FL marked our introduction to the tilt-up construction world.​

1999:
First project in the parks: The Royale Pacific Hotel at Universal, Orlando, FL.

Inspired by our core values centered around building a better future for others, and exemplified by Bill Thomas' philanthropic ventures, Angel Garza, Jason Thomas, and Billy Thomas put their skills to work for a greater cause, giving back to the community by constructing The Bible Institute and School of Evangelism and Faith Training in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico. This was the beginning of many mission initiatives led by our team all around the world. ​

We acquired our first 240 Laser Screed, setting a new standard in precision concrete placement.

2001:
We hired our first project managers, this helped us formalize processes and take operations to the next level.

2002:
Completed a $10.95M cast-in-place frame for The University of Florida Oak Hammock in Gainesville, FL.

2004:
Constructed 6 tilt-up buildings with inlaid brick for Police & Fire Training Facility in Fort Pierce, FL.

2008:
Partnered with Clark Construction on the West Orange High School in Winter Garden, FL for Orange County Public Schools, marking the start of a long-standing and trusted relationship.​

2009:
Evans High School project canceled due to economic downturn.

2010:
The recession struck with force, reducing our revenue from $65M to just $3M. Yet, even in the face of adversity, our core values remained unshaken. Through resilience and determination, we pivoted toward new opportunities, securing Department of Defense contracts that helped sustain us through the Great Recession.

Clark Construction continues to be a key partner now working bringing military projects to our market sectors:

• Fort Benning, GA – 25 barracks buildings
• Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, SC – 3 buildings
• Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC – 14 buildings

2011:
We partnered with Turner Construction on project Citrus Bowl (Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL) delivering a turnkey cast-in-place concrete package.

Completed Nephron Pharmaceuticals in West Columbia, SC.

2012:
Our entry into the Northeast market began with the official opening of our Souderton, PA office. The I-83 Blue Rock Industrial Logistics Center project set the foundation for future growth in this area. 

2014:
We began our partnership with Ductilcrete, bringing advanced concrete flooring to our projects.

2017:
Constructed a Trader Joe’s distribution facility in Bloomfield, CT totaling 700,000 SF across three buildings.

2020:
Mideast office launches in Morrisville, NC, allowing us to better serve our clients, like Arco on the Eli Lilly project.​

2022:
A new chapter begins as Rebecca Thomas takes the helm as President & CEO. The Internship Program also begins, helping shape the next generation of leaders.

2023:
The company rebranded as T&T Construction Management Group; achieved WBENC certification.

This year we also completed Gulfstream Aerospace Service Center, Savannah, GA.

2024:
Completed our largest project to date: Project Channel, a 2.7M SF Target Distribution Center.

New Tampa office opens, bringing us closer to our clients and projects in this area.

2025:
Board of advisors is selected, helping us grow and strengthen our position in the speciality concrete construction sector.
